Learn another great wire wrapping technique from Mig! For this project you’ll border wrap around a faceted stone or glass piece and add prongs to secure the stone in place. This is a piece that always gets compliments and people are floored when you say “I made it myself”. This can be done with any size or shape of faceted stone. Odin has developed a fan base that gets together on Friday afternoons to weave crystals in the Japanese Style. We’ve done hearts, strawberries a gradient pendant and now CUBES! There is something that is just so fascinating about these shimmery little shapes that make you just want to make more of them. A lot of people have asked about a class for this piece, so here it is. The daisy is such a simple, sweet flower. And that is just the way I’d describe this variation on a daisy chain. Vines and flowers are both size 11 seed beads although, you could use any size or colors to change the look and make it truly your own. This is a very easy project for first time hand weavers. But, even the more experienced can have a lot of fun with it.
